William Geller

November 22, 1942 — August 2, 2020

Doug Geller of Telluride & Grand Junction and formerly of The Big Island of Hawaii passed away on 8/02/20 from his battle with cancer.   Growing up in Hawthorne, California  he became a Hawthorne police sergeant.  After his retirement he moved to the Big Island of Hawaii  and started/owned Tom Bombadil's Restaurant in Kailua Kona, Hawaii for over twenty years, growing it from a small take out window food service to a free standing building and full service restaurant.  He is survived by Jackie, his son Tracy (Katie), his grandsons Shane & Ty, brother Larry and extended family Brad (Jessica) and Elizabeth.   He was preceded in death by his mother and father Ruth Scott Geller and Perry Glenn Geller.  He loved to  golf, ski and enjoy a good laugh with friends at Tracks in Telluride or at one of his favorite restaurants on Alii Drive in Kona. Memorial services to be held at a later date and his remains will be scattered at sea in his beloved Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
