Shann Kielma

Shann Aaron Kielma, age 45, was pronounced dead on Friday, August 27th following a 2018 diagnosis of congestive heart failure. Born February 20, 1976 in Granada Hills, California, he was the son of Cynthia Kay Kielma (Lowell) of Grand Junction, CO and the late Ronald Allen Kielma. Shann attended Mohave High School in Bullhead City, Arizona. For employment he was primarily a flooring contractor, but also held positions in car and jewelry sales as well as production. Shann was married from 2005 to 2019 to Nicole MIchelle McClaskey of California City, California. Shann enjoyed swimming, the beach and surfing, cooking, listening to a variety of music genres, watching Nascar races and was a movie buff. Shann "the man" was warm, charismatic, fun-loving and funny. He was stylish and displayed confidence. Shann highly valued family and was a very proud father of his two girls.

Shann was preceded in death by his father Ronald Allen Kielma, both of his father's parents, and his maternal grandfather Jerry Hobbs.

Shann is survived by grandmother Alice (Jerry) Hobbs of Northridge, California, mother Cynthia Lowell of Grand Junction, Colorado, adoptive father Ronald Duane DePue of Spokane, Washington, sister Celina (Patrick) Kirnberger of Grand Junction, Colorado, and daughters Faith Taylor Kielma and Hope Emily Kielma of California City, California.

Services will be held at a later date in Southern California.
