Lonnie Shaver

February 14, 1943 — December 10, 2021

On a cold February day in 1943, the silence of Stogdon Holler,(S.W. Missouri) was broken with the blessed sound of the cries of Lonnie Robert Shaver (Bob) He was named after his 2 grandfather's. What a special Valentines Day. Bob was born to Nadine LeMaster Shaver and Dewey Shaver. He grew up in S.W. Missouri, a country boy.

His passions in life were his family, hunting,fishing and camping. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. Bob had the privilege of taking Dylan on his 1st deer hunting trip as well as teaching all of the grandchildren to fish.

Bob was a friendly, kind, caring,and generous man. Always ready to lend a helping hand.

He was proceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his siblings Martha Baker, Bernice McKenzie, Dewey Shaver and David Sherman. His loving wife of 30 yrs Linda Shaver. He leaves behind his daughters Paula Shaver of S Dakota, Karla Shaver of Flordia and Victoria (Vicki) Hansen of Colorado. He adored his grandchildren Maya Shaver-Shane, Dylan Hansen, Shelby Hansen and Brett Hansen.

He loved the Lord and looked forward to spending  eternity with him. Bob left this world on Dec.10,2021 in Grand Jct. Co at the VA Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Jan 29th at 2pm at Orchard Mesa Bapist Church.
