Harold Cox

March 22, 1928 — January 24, 2015

Harold was born in Sisters, Oregon to Lawrence and Stella Cox. He spent his childhood in Idaho where he entered the logging industry. Harold spent the next fifty years working as a lumberjack and building numerous sawmills. He served briefly in the Army during the Korean War before being Honorably Discharged. Harold married Connie in 1951, a marriage that lasted nearly fifty-five years until her passing in 2006. They lived in Cortez, Colorado from 1968 to 1987, until they relocated to Kingman, Arizona in 1987. There he owned and operated a Service Master Franchise. Harold moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 2006. Harold is survived by; his sister Faye Yantis, and brother Melvin Cox, children David Cox, Danny Cox, Debbie Wright, Cindy Rash and husband Charles, grandchildren Jeramiah, Autumn, Crystal, Steven, Katie, Tim, Mallory, Sean and his eleven great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Atrium in Grand Junction, Colorado on February 15th, 2015 at 2 PM. Those who wish to express their condolences may do so at www.brownscremationservice.com
