Cynthia Botruff

Cynthia Anne Botruff, age 68, entered into rest on February 6, 2020 following a long illness.

Born November 3rd, 1951 in Monmouth, Illinois, she was the daughter of Max and Barbara Leezer.

Cindy graduated from Monmouth High School in 1969 and Moline Beauty School in Moline Illinois in the mid 80s.

Cindy had been employed for over 25 years in cosmetology.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in East Moline, Illinois, and was a deaconess.

She always enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and Nascar on Sundays with her family.

Cindy was friendly, outgoing and hard-working. She was always helping people, and loved spending time with her family.

Cindy was preceded in death by  her mother, brother, and grandparents.

Cindy is survived by her husband, David; son, Paul; daughters, Michelle Leezer of Racine, Wisconsin, Christina Botruff of Grand Junction, Laura (Darrin) Mottler of Grand Junction, Stacy Botruff of Grand Junction; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-granddaughters; father, Max Leezer, and sisters, Theresa Hasten of Galesburg, Illinois, Laura (Burne) Dean of Monmouth, Illinois, Cecila (Dan) Callahan of Versales, Kentucky, Julie Ballard of Monmouth, Illinois, Marsha Morath of Monmouth, Illinois, Sara (Brad) Upton of Monmouth, Illinois, and Marissa Leezer of Chicago, Illinois.
