Allen Ries

Allen Ries passed away November 25th, 2019 suddenly from a heart attack.  He was actively preparing for retiring in 2 years with plans to finish restoring his beloved 1967 Jaguar.   He was a commercial HVAC technician for 30 years who loved working with his hands and was exploring woodworking as a new hobby when he died.  He was someone who loved laughing and always had a friendly smile and welcoming attitude.  He was fascinated with WWII and loved Martial Arts movies and  was looking forward to traveling to Japan next year to visit a country that he'd lived in as child while his father was stationed there as a Naval Officer.   He tried to save every stray cat in the neighborhood and loved his animals.   He is survived by his Wife Betty Ries, Son Zachary Ries, Stepson Andrew Neal his wife Mackenzie and 2 grandchildren.  Services will be held after the first of the year.
