Chuck was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, in 1951 to Vera and William Jones, who preceded him in death. He grew up in Southern California and graduated from Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove.

Chuck worked alongside his father in construction and later as an armored car driver for Loomis and at Hughes Aircraft. In November 1994, he became a certified respiratory therapist. That same year, he moved with his family to Grand Junction, Colorado, where he continued his career as a respiratory therapist until 2013.

Chuck enjoyed fishing, drag racing, and coin collecting. He was known for his sense of humor and love of joking, but he also valued hard work and respect for others.

Chuck is survived by his two sons, his daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
