Wayne Alan Tinkey

Wayne A Tinkey, 66 died at home 05/04/2025 following a long illness.

Born June 1959 in Denver, CO he was the son, of the late Robert C Tinkey and Barbara (Metcalf) Tinkey.

Wayne graduated from Caliche High School in Iliff, CO. He was a member of the wrestling and football teams.

Wayne retired after a variety of careers that included farming, welding, cooking and working on oil rigs.

He enjoyed playing cards with family, fishing and Philadelphia Eagles football in his younger years.

Wayne was a friendly jokester. We will all miss his pranks and gag gifts.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father Robert C Tinkey, his mother Barbara Tinkey, his younger brothers Roy Tinkey and Randy Tinkey, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins.

Wayne is survived by his love Vicky Roberts, brother Rob Tinkey, sister Arlene Eggert, niece Nicole Eggert, nephew Paul Eggert, daughter Sheri Johnson and son Tim Tinkey.

Celebration of Life services will be 06/15/2025 @ 1:00 p.m. at 615 Peace Drive Grand Junction CO 81504.

Services have been entrusted to Browns Cremation and Funeral Services.
