Virginia Lee Womack

Virginia Lee Womack (Ginger) went to be with the Lord on the morning of March 29th, 2024. Ginger passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
Ginger was born in Fruita, CO to Joseph S. Dalley and Marguerite L. Dalley on Sept 21, 1934. She spent her childhood years in Fruita where she completed her schooling. In 1958 Ginger met and married the love of her life, Steve W. Womack in California. Ginger and Steve lived in West Covina, CA for the next 24 years where they raised 4 children.
During that time Ginger was a Cook at West Covina High School. In 1982 Ginger and Steve moved to Loma, CO and Ginger became a Cook at Dist. 51 School Dist. Ginger retired from the school district in 2007 to spend more time with family.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters, her husband, and her daughter Karen Smith of Seattle WA, and great grandson Nicholas Jones of West Covina, CA. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Goddard of West Covina, CA, son Stephen (Ginny) Womack of Loma, CO, and her son Jim
(Stacia) Womack of Loma, CO. Ginger is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She lived life to the fullest and never took an opportunity to do something
she enjoyed for granted. She was kind hearted, generous, and a very happy person.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 11 :am at the Mesa Valley Church of Christ at 539 28 1/2 Road.
