Taisa Jewell Gallegos would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call on January 19, 2024 with an offer she couldn’t refuse, for an appointment with the Heavenly King.
In just 21 short years, she fulfilled God’s call on her life. Her unwavering courage, warrior strength and Olympic faith has touched not only this community but stretched across the world. She will best be remembered for her tender heart, infectious smile and a spirit so bright it lit up the room.
Tasia endured a life of constant struggle and pain, beginning at just 6 months of age. Despite undergoing nearly 30 surgeries, suffering from complications, scaring, infections and debilitating pain every moment of every day of her life, she would still proclaim: even if God does not deliver me from this fire, He is still good!
Those patiently waiting to join her in her Heavenly home, where she is running and dancing and eating everything in sight with no pain or suffering are:
Her mother, Jillian Gallegos, father Isaac Gallegos, brother Hunter and sister-in-law Rylee Gallegos, brother Alexander Gallegos, Grandparents John and Carla Cappetto, Grandmother Sharon Craft and Grandfather John Gallegos.
Memorial services will be February 1st, 2024 at 2pm at the Canyon View Vineyard church chapel, followed by a short reception in the foyer. Light refreshments will be served.
