When Steel bounced into a room, everyone knew it. He had one volume, and it was "on." And loud. He loved hard, played hard, and worked hard. Whether he was snowboarding, dirt biking, mountain biking, hiking, playing pickle ball, or spending time with the people he loved, Steel embraced every adventure with contagious enthusiasm. He loved his family and friends with all of his being. He shared a special bond with his Aunt Amanda and Uncle Joe, spending a couple of years living with them in Idaho and making memories with his cousins Bennett, Felix, and Silas that they will carry with them forever. Doing good work was important to him, and it was evident in the pride he took in the many projects he completed in the last few years.
Steel is survived by his father, Blu Gray; his mother, Jaida McKeever (Ryan); his siblings, Stone, Violet, and Jhett Gray; his Great-Nana, Shirley Armstrong; his Grandad and Nana, Tom and Brenda Gray; his Mimi, Juliann Martin; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him.We were blessed to have Steel with us for 22 years. It will never feel like enough. Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for every adventure, every laugh, and every memory he gave us.
