Shone Briggs

Shone Erik Briggs,age 36, died on the 15th of March 2022, following a sudden illness.

Shone was born on July 16th 1985 in Craig Colorado. He was the son of George and the late Theresa Briggs of Olympia Washington.

Shone graduated from Ocean Shores High School in Ocean Shores WA. in 2004. He attended Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, Wa., graduating with honors in 2006 with a degree in diesel mechanics.

Shone had worked for the Colorado Department of Transportation for 14 years, working out of the yards in Gypsum and De Beque.

He enjoyed fishing, taking walks,reading action novels,special mechanical vehicles, food online, swimming  and taking touring trips with his family.

Shone liked people and he enjoyed interacting with people from varied backgrounds. He had a good sense of humor with a sly wit and an appreciation for irony.

He loved playing with his son, Dylan.

Shone loved his family and worked tirelessly  for their benefit. He enjoyed his work and all the people he worked with. Shone was a loving person and treated others with respect and concern for their well-being.

Shone was preceded in death by his mother Theresa Briggs.

Shone is survived  by his wife Samantha, son Dylan, sisters Alisha and Janay, and his father George.

Memorial services will be on 26,03,2022,11:00 AM at Browns Cremation and Funeral service.

Internment to be in Grand Junction Municipal Cemetery, Orchard Mesa at 1:00 PM.
