Shirley Bertha Larsen

Shirley Bertha Larsen, age 92, joined her husband Norb in heaven on August 11th, 2023, following a brief illness.

Born on July 27th, 1931, in Milwaukee, WI, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ida Wardius, Shirley attended Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, WI. In her younger years she was a key punch operator and eventually became a fulltime homemaker. Shirley loved to host card night with her friends and family, enjoyed knitting and crocheting, baking cookies, always enjoyed playing the slots at the casinos, and was an avid bingo player.

Shirley enjoyed her retirement years in Florida before relocating in Grand Junction, CO. She was a wonderful hostess, generous snack provider always hunting down the newest snack to please her guests. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Virginia, her husband Norb, and her great grand son Tanner. Shirley is survived by her four daughters Karen, Susan, Sandra, and Janet, 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

The Celebration of Life will be held Monday August 21^st, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Browns Cremation and Funeral Services in Grand Junction, CO.
