Sherrie Anderson Sadler

September 11, 1955 — August 11, 2025

Grand Junction

Sherrie Anderson Sadler, of Grand Junction, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on August 11, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born and raised in Tennessee, Sherrie graduated from Smyrna High School and began a diverse career. She worked as a local fashion model, a real estate agent with Century 21, and later as an advertising agency coordinator in Nashville, TN. Her creativity and sense of style led her to briefly attend the O’More School of Design in Franklin, TN, where she refined her keen eye for interior design.

Sherrie made her home in Brentwood and Mount Juliet, TN, before settling in Grand Junction in 2009, where she built new friendships and shared her quirky sense of humor and Southern hospitality.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sonia Anderson; her father, Richard Anderson; and her sister, Terrie Pitts. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Thomas Nara of Grand Junction, CO; her son, Stephen Parker of Nashville, TN; her brother, Richard Jim (Ricky) Anderson of Eagleville, TN; her beloved Aunt Nene (Juanita Burnett) of Rockvale, TN; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Sherrie delighted in the music of The Beatles’ — especially the album “Rubber Soul.” She loved nothing more than a good walk in nature and enjoyed the soothing sound of a good rainstorm and laughing with friends until she couldn’t catch her breath — and sometimes until she snorted. Sherrie will be remembered for her gracious spirit, her eye for beauty, and the love she enthusiastically shared with friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand Valley Catholic Outreach or HopeWest Ferris Care Center of Grand Junction, where Sherrie spent her final days.
