Sharon Lee Swander

Sharon Lee Swander, age 83, passed away, Tuesday, April 4^th, 2023.

Born November 7^th,1939 in Gering, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Betty Wilson and sister to Shirley, Sunny, Renita and Darrell.

Sharon graduated in 1957 from Dodge City High School and shortly after moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she became paralegal learning shorthand.

After a while in the springs, Sharon moved back to her hometown of Scottsbluff, Nebraska where she would meet her husband of 64 years, Bob Swander.

They would eventually settle in Grand Junction, Colorado in 1971 where they raised three beautiful children, Jesse (Debbie), Stephen (Elaine) and Debbie (Stacy).

Sharon found the art of creation to be her favorite pastime and something that she truly was the best at. Always making new arts and crafts, painting a wall, or even crocheting a scarf for her newest grandchild.

She was super sweet with a little bit of sass, and that’s why she was so loveable.

Sharon is survived by: Her husband Bob; Daughter Debbie; Sons, Jesse and Steve; 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, April 11^th, 2023, at 11AM at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Services at 904 N 7th St, Grand Junction, CO 81501
