Seth Lewis Gregersen

July 28, 1989 — January 16, 2024

Seth Lewis Gregersen, age 34, passed away in the early hours of January 16, 2024, at his home in Grand Junction, CO. He was born on July 28th, 1989, to Layne Gregersen and Philina Clegg. Seth loved spending time with his kids, working on his truck and anything outdoors. He had a passion for working with large equipment. He knew how to drive a backhoe by the age of five. Some of his favorite memories were made while digging holes with his son Braxtyn. He was an operator of heavy equipment/mechanic and loved his work. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. His first time hunting he got a five-point elk, and he was so proud. Seth also really loved his guns. He was always showing them off or wanting to go shooting. Seth had a hard exterior, always tried to be the tough guy but inside he loved BIG. He had a soft spot for animals and even doctored an injured turtle (we named Lewis) back to health. Anyone who knew Seth knew that he had become the sarcastic, grumpy guy with few words, but he would do anything for anyone he loved. He was always daring people to do the craziest things and pranking whenever he could. You never knew if he was serious or if he was joking and that’s the way he liked it. He may have had a hard time saying it but he loved being around his family and friends and always wanted to have a good time. He could get his younger cousins to do just about anything. We will cherish the memories we have and will forever miss his smile. He is survived by his parents Layne (Marcie) Gregersen, Philina (Russell) Clegg; his children Braxtyn Gregersen (9) and Paisley Gregersen (7); brothers (Nathan and Zac), sisters (Crystal, Kelly, Ali (Seth Counts), Jessie, Kaylie (Clayton Graham) and Laycie) and nieces and nephews.  Seth was cremated and will have a celebration of life later this summer in Arizona.

To my son,

May the stars carry your sadness away.

May the flowers fill your heart with peace.

May hope forever wipe away your tears.

And above all, may you know how much I love you.

Love forever,

Mom
