Sandra Jean Adams

August 1, 1940 — June 30, 2024

Sandra Jean Adams, 83 died Sunday, June 30th 2024 following a hard fought battle with Leukemia. Born August 1st, 1940 in Glenwood Colorado, she was the daughter of Harold and Pansy Mulnix. Sandra graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1958 and completed classes at Mesa State College. 

Sandy was a tiny woman with a big personality; she was never afraid to say what was on her mind. She also loved fiercely and delighted in spending quality time with the people that she loved. She was a great story-teller, everything was exaggerated. Sandy has been an artist most of her life and enjoyed painting and making crafts, traveling to sell her creations at craft and jewelry shows. She had an adventurous soul and loved to travel, she cherished memories of her many extravagant trips all over the world with her late husband Russell and one with her granddaughter Brianna. 

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Russell of 64 years. Sandra is survived by her four children Randy Adams, Cyndi (Rick) Castonguay, Rodney (Julie) Adams and Robin (Teri) Adams. A sister Judy (Dennis) Derose, Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren or Grandchildren Chad (Sarah) Castonguay, Cortney Valerio, Brandon Adams, Brianna Adams, Christopher Adams. Great grandchildren Tyren Castonguay, Talen Valerio, Presley Castonguay, Risten Valerio, Sylliss Jennings. Many nieces and nephews including Missy and Kenny (Iliana) DeRose and Caydence DeRose.

A Celebration of Life for Sandra Jean Adams will be held July 11th, 2024 at 2PM at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service.
