Sally Jean Pape

Sally J. Pape was a twin to Shirley Howell. The girls were born in Kansas City Mo. to Thomas and Frances O’Brien on October 18, 1933.  Sally was married to Hubert E. Pape who passed away in 2012. She lived the remaining years in their home in Grand Junction until her relocation to Capella Assisted Living Center in March of 2023. Sally was an accomplished organist who loved to play and spent hours every day for years playing her favorite pieces. She also loved quilting and belonged to numerous quilt groups including the Monument Quilters having served as their President. She especially enjoyed doing group project quilts with her friends.  Sally had five children, fifteen grand children and numerous great grandchildren. She is missed daily but has gifted her children with many memories of her infectious laugh and love of family.
