Ronald Vinson Noble

Ronald Vinson Noble went to be with his Lord on Monday, July 14, 2025. Ron was born on July 29, 1947 to Theo & Mary Noble in Amarillo, TX. Ron graduated from Amarillo High School in May 1966 and attended West Texas State University. 

Ron married Kathy Findley in 1968. They had 3 children, Paul, Elissa & Jeanette. The family moved to Grand Junction in January 1972. They divorced in 1977. Ron married Glenda (Ziegs) Williams in November 1989. 

Ron worked at City Market for 20 years. He was the Manager of the Transportation (trucking) Department. After leaving City Market Ron purchased Clifton Daylight Donut while Managing & Instructing the local branch of Morgan Community College Truck Driving School. One of his greatest pleasures was turning out quality truck drivers. In 1998 Ron purchased his own truck and contract drove for many years. Ron later drove for Meadow Gold Dairy retiring in 2015. 

Ron faithfully attended First Assembly of God aka Victory Life Church. Ron loved the Lord and enjoyed studying his Bible. Ron and Glenda enjoyed traveling. They traveled abroad, and enjoyed their road trips across the US. They especially enjoyed exploring Colorado & Utah in their Can Am. 

Ron was beloved by all who knew him. He adored his children, (all five), grandchildren and great grandchildren, and they loved him. ‘Papa’ was very special to them all. Ron is proceeded in death by his parents and a brother Larry. 

Ron is survived by his wife Glenda, his children Paul Noble, Elissa Leishman (Robert), Jeanette Kahler (Andrew), stepsons Jeff Williams (Mandy), Brian Williams (Tina); grandchildren Colby Noble (Micaela), Zoe Madole (Josh), John Mark Leishman, Ron Leishman, Joshua Leishman, Alex Leishman (Nikki), Andy Leishman (Mckenna), Blaine Leishman, Tom Leishman (Zenida), Jayden Lathan, Kirsten Tursich (Trent), Kyle Williams, Kaleb Williams, Katelyn Williams, Marc Williams (Kelsea) and McKayla Collett (Keenan) and 8 Great grandchildren, Kacey, Ranger & Rellion, Caleb, Greyson, Hank, Daniel & Theo. Ron is also survived by siblings Debra Wilcox (Rick), Tom Noble (Karen), Mark Noble, Gary Noble (Jo Beth), and Neal Noble (Megan).
