Schreiber

In Loving Memory of Robin Lynn Welpley Schreiber
Robin Lynn Welpley Schreiber was born in Burbank, California, and grew up in Placerville, California. As a young adult, she moved to Southern California, where she began building a life filled with family, creativity, and love.
Robin became a cosmetologist and welcomed her first daughter, Alicia Janaha Torres (Cepeda), into the world. Later, while working as a bartender, Robin met the love of her life, Kurt Schreiber. The two were married in 1983 and went on to build a beautiful family together, welcoming their daughter, Mary Lee Schreiber (Koller), and their son, Kurt Howard Schreiber.
In 1994, Kurt and Robin moved their family to Fruita, Colorado. It was there that Robin was able to share her remarkable artistic talents. She worked in a doll factory and also used her creativity and attention to detail to make replicas of dinosaur bones. Robin found joy in creating beautiful and unique things with her hands.
Robin had a true passion for people and animals. She never met a stranger, or an animal, she didn't love. Her compassion knew no bounds. She was compassionate, loving, strong, and accepting. Robin had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, and she gave her love freely to those around her.
Above all, Robin was the heart of her family. Her love, strength, and presence brought her family together and created memories that will be cherished forever. Her kindness touched countless lives, and the love she gave will continue through the generations that follow her.
Robin was preceded in death by her father, Leland Welpley; her stepmother, Alice Welpley; and her brothers, Rick Nelson and Bob Nelson.
Robin is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Kurt Schreiber; her brother, Rodney Welpley (Peggy); and her three children, Alicia Cepeda (Ivan), Mary Koller (Keith), and Kurt H. Schreiber (Sirenah).
She is also survived by her ten grandchildren: Iris, Isaiah, Benjerman, Caden, Emilyn, Alaina, Kurt C., Kinzalynn, Ariya, and O'rhyan; and her three great-grandchildren, Alexzander, Aileen, and Azealea.
Robin's life was defined by love—for her family, her friends, animals, and the many people whose lives she touched. She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her strength, her creativity, and the unconditional love she gave to her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robin's memory to: HopeWest of Mesa County 3090 N. 12th Street Grand Junction, CO 81506
Though she is no longer with us, Robin's love will live on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
She was the heart of our family, and she will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
