Robert Lowell Doty

Robert Lowell Doty, 80, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 28th, 2025. Born April 20th, 1944, he was the son of the late Lynn Doty and Jessie Marie Doty.

Robert, a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his six beloved children: Craig, Tricia, Tannya, Heather, Jessica, and Chuck; as well as grandchildren Taylor, Tamaran, Payge, Devin, Logan, Aidann, Alex, Wheeler, Charlie, Destiny, Serenity, Hunter, Cadyn, Michael and many great-grandchildren. Robert is also survived by his sister Lynda (Gale) Powell, cousins, caregiver Fannie Deegan and her family.

Robert was known for his quiet nature, and appreciation for a simple life. He especially enjoyed working with his hands and had exemplary carpentry skills, which he used both professionally and in personal projects.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Jessie Doty and his brother, Charles Doty.

A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date.
