Regina Bell Williams

April 27, 1942 — August 26, 2023

Regina Bell Williams, born in Nebraska, embarked on her final journey on 8/26/23. She was greeted on the other side by her beloved husband, Donald "Pokey" Williams, parents Robert and Lenore Tillman, and siblings: Rex Tillman, Ron Tillman, Garlan “Dutch” Tillman, Anoka Kimball, Robert “Bob” Tillman, Morton Tillman, and her precious sons, Clinton and Dwayne Williams, along with cherished grandchildren, JoAnn Williams, Christopher Williams, and Keith Williams and great-granddaughter Ruby Major.

Regina leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and family ties that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. She is survived by sister Naomi (Tony) Marquez and Lee Tillman, her devoted sons, Basil (Vinca) Williams, Dwight Williams, and Lonnie Williams. Regina's nurturing spirit will continue to shine through her grandchildren: Christina (Zach) Merrick, Nick (Nicki) Williams, Josh (Alicia) Williams, Sheena (Abel) Sanchez, Ashley Williams, Shawn Williams, Brittany (Tim) Major, Bobby (Jessie) Williams, Lonnie (Devan) Thibodaux, Patrick Williams, Tony Williams, Jake (Kristi) Mendez, Tosha Narro, and David Williams, as well as numerous cherished great-grandchildren.

Regina's life was a testament to the power of love and family bonds. A mother to five boys, she dedicated herself to being a homemaker and a loving wife. Her warm and kind-hearted nature left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Even as her own children grew and flourished, Regina's heart overflowed with love as she embraced the role of raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her unwavering commitment to her family was a guiding light that will continue to inspire generations to come.

Regina's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Her spirit of generosity, kindness, and selflessness will continue to echo through the lives she touched. As we say our farewells, let us also celebrate the vibrant and nurturing woman Regina was, a beacon of love in our lives.

Family and friends are invited to join for a celebration of life on Saturday 9/2/23 from 2pm-5pm at the Fruita Recreation Center (324 N Coulson St Fruita, CO 81521) in the Peach and Plum meeting rooms.

Regina, will be placed along side her husband Pokey Williams in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction, CO on a date yet to be set.
