Rebecca Anne Nordeen

December 13, 1954 — December 22, 2025

Rebecca Ann “Becky” Bryan Nordeen, of Palisade, Colorado, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025.

Becky was born on December 13, 1954, to George Washington Bryan and Lois Charlene Bryan, of Ignacio, Colorado, who preceded her in death. From her earliest days, Becky carried with her a quiet strength, a kind heart, and a deep sense of care for those around her.

On March 16, 1974, Becky and Daniel W. Nordeen, eloped to Watertown, South Dakota, where they were married. Together they shared 51 years of marriage, mostly spent in the Montrose and Grand Junction areas, where they built a life filled with love, dedication, and family.

Their union was blessed with three children, son, Timothy Nordeen, daughter, Danielle Nordeen, grandson and adopted son, Elijah Nordeen, who was lovingly raised by his grandparents.

Becky was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit and the way she made others feel seen and valued. Her life was marked by love for her family and numerous friends, and for the simple moments that made life so meaningful. Those who knew her will remember her strong work ethic, deep compassion, resilience in the face of hardship, and the steady presence she offered so freely to others.

Becky leaves behind limitless cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of the many who loved her. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love, grace, and quiet generosity will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dan Nordeen; children, Timothy Nordeen, Danielle Nordeen and Elijah Nordeen; grandchildren Keenan Nordeen, Curen Nordeen, Autumn Nordeen, Jaden Hill, and Malachi Hill.

We find great comfort in knowing that Becky is resting peacefully above, beside a beautiful mountain lake, reunited with her parents, with a fishing pole in hand. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the love and memories she leaves behind.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

A memorial service for family and close friends will be arranged for a future date.
