Obituary

Priscilla Ann Wells was born April 11th, 1946 to Orville and Elizabeth Wells in Delta, Colorado.

The family moved to Rangely, Colorado when she was two years old, where Priscilla graduated high school in 1965. Priscilla married Clarence Hamilton. The marriage was dissolved in 1988. With this union, they had three children; LaTricia Tuck, Kristina Hemphill, and Clarence Hamilton Jr. Priscilla worked 30+ years at all three schools in Rangely until she retired in 2014. This was especially hard for her because she enjoyed teaching and loved every single one of her students. Priscilla’s favorite pastime included playing cards with her family, chatting with friends, and gifting people booklets with handwritten scriptures from the bible. Priscilla is survived by her sister Sandy (Bill) Henderson, daughter LaTricia Tuck, son Clarence Hamilton Jr. and step-daughter Tracy Hamilton. Grandchildren; Derek (Aschley) Tuck, Nicole (Nathan) Cottrill, Kymberlie Joyce, Stephanie (Luke) Lester, Vanessa Hamilton, and Clarence Hamilton III. Two step grandkids, Jessi Lamoreaux, and Christian. She had nine great grandchildren; Brookelynn Urie, Waylyn Tuck, Mackenzie Urie, Adessa Tuck, Josephine Tuck, Colter Cottrill, Carter Cottrill, Jameson Cottrill, Levi Lester. Nephew; Bobby Henderson. Two step great grandchildren; Kayla and Dakota. Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents Orville and Elizabeth Wells, daughter Kristina Hemphill, grand-daughter Emilie Ketcher and nephew Billy Henderson.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026. 

St. Ignatius Church - 109 S. Stanolind RD, Rangely, CO. 

Rosary at 11 am, follow by the Requiem Mass at 11:30 a.m., followed by immediate internment at Rangely Cemetery, follow by lunch at the church hall.
