Pepi Schlingman, beloved wife, devoted mother, adoring grandmother, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 67, surrounded by love in her home in Grand Junction, CO.
Born in Warrensburg, MO, on July 7, 1956, Pepi's journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and boundless compassion. She radiated warmth and kindness wherever she went, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered Her genuine smile and infectious laughter were a source of joy and comfort to all who knew her.
Pepi's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Bob, sharing a love that stood the test of time and weathered life's challenges with unwavering strength and devotion. As a mother, Pepi poured her heart and soul into raising her children, Jennifer and Patrick, instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and resilience that she held dear. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to Caleb and Logan, showering them with unconditional love and creating cherished memories that will be held for generations to come.
In addition to her family, Pepi found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She was a passionate football fan and a devout Nascar fan. She eagerly cheered on her favorite team the Denver Broncos and her favorite driver Jimmy Johnson. She found solace in the tranquility of camping trips and the thrill of fishing adventures. In the kitchen, she was a culinary artist, delighting her loved ones with her delicious cooking and baking creations. Her golden retrievers were more than pets they were beloved members of the family, bringing love, joy, and companionship into her life each day.
Pepi will be remembered for her boundless love, unwavering care, and steadfast dedication to her family. She was a pillar of strength and support, always there to lend a listening ear or offer a comforting hug. Her love knew no bounds, and her legacy of compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Though Pepi may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever be present in the laughter of her grandchildren, the warmth of her husband's embrace, and the love that continues to surround her family and friends.
