Patricia Sellers

Patricia “Patti” Ann Sellers passed away April 22, 2017 at HopeWest Hospice surrounded by her loving family.  She was 86 years old. Patricia Ann Pinkerton was born on January 23, 1931, in Benkelman, NE to Roy and Laura Taylor Pinkerton. When Patti was 8 years old, her family moved to Delta, CO. She earned an Associates in Business  from Mesa Junior College, and met the love of her life, Ben Donald Sellers.  They married September 2, 1951 and moved to Ohio in 1954. They returned to Colorado in 1955 and settled in Montrose.  In 1970, the family moved to Grand Junction, and she continued to make a beautiful  life there for her 3 children and husband. She also pursued  a part time career as an insurance agent for Grange Insurance Company.  She enjoyed painting, traveling and camping. . She is survived by her husband Ben Sellers; her daughter, Diane Sellers (Dale) Loucks; and her sons, Rex (Jamine) Sellers and Danny (Robin) Sellers. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, Donna Miller and Charlene Sawtelle. The funeral is  April 28 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church  720 Grand Ave, Grand Junction with a reception following at the church. Burial will be a 1:30 p.m. in Delta, Colorado.
