Patricia Joyce McKitrick

Patricia Joyce McKitrick age 88, died January 17, 2024, following a sudden stroke. Born in Lamar, Colorado on October 25, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Hazel Rhudy. Pat attended Wiley High School in Wiley, Colorado. Pat was a teacher aide in the education industry for over 20 years and was a member of the bowling league, UMW, and counted the offering at church. She enjoyed spending her time ceramic painting, reading, playing board games, and watching the Broncos. Pat was friendly, opinionated, exacting, and had a strong sense of family. She was truthful, respectable, and dependable.

Pat was proceeded in death by her parents Paul and Hazel Rhudy; spouse Ronald McKitrick, and numerous family and friends. She is survived by daughters Jody (Jerry) Schamber and Teri (Frank) Novotny, sister Pauline (Bruce) Fischer, brother Donald (Marge) Rhudy, grandkids Scott Schamber, Colleen Schamber, Jeffrey Schamber, Aaron (Carrie) Novotny, Mark (Lindsey) Novotny, and Great grandchildren Cayden Novotny, and Gunnar Novotny.

Memorial Service will be held on January 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Fruita United Methodist Church 405 E. Aspen Avenue Fruita, CO 81521.
