Pat's life on earth ended on Thursday, February 8th in Grand Junction, CO. She was 88 years old. Interment of ashes will occur in Eagle, CO at a later date.

Patricia Ann McCain was born on August 30, 1935 in Glenwood Springs, CO to Howard and Marilla McCain.  She spent her childhood and graduated from high school in Eagle, CO.

She lived in Basalt and Glenwood Springs after her marriage to Alvin.  After retiring, Pat made her home in Grand Junction.

Pat was a member of the Center for Spiritual Living Church in Grand Junction.  She enjoyed traveling when able, spending time with her two sisters and spending time with her family. Pat enjoyed researching and writing about her ancestors.  She felt a close connection to her “homeland” of Scotland and was able to explore it twice during her life.  Pat was a published author of three books.  She had a soft spot for homeless kitties and was known to give some a warm place to live.   Over the years, Pat was involved in numerous clubs and groups.  She was always happy to be a part of a committee if she felt her presence could make a difference for others.
