Orland Murray

Orland “Dean” Murray, age 72, of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away peacefully on February 25, 2023, at home with his family by his side.

Dean was born on August 5, 1950, in Montrose, CO. His loving parents raised him and his three brothers in Grand Junction, CO where he developed a passion for hunting, fishing, camping, and four wheeling. Dean enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles, but he liked driving them even more. He always got a kick out of scaring whoever may be in the passenger seat. Although there were many scary times, deep down we always knew we were safe. He always did the best he could for his family and friends. Dean was a good man and an excellent provider.

Dean was proceeded in death by his father Larry Riley Murray, his mother Maxine Faye Murray, and his brother Arlen Murray. He is survived by his wife Janice Murray, his brother Spence (Gorgia) Murray and Kent (Sandy) Murray, his 6 children Linda Rodriguez, Tammy Murray, Veronica (Alex) MacLagan, Gary (Lynette) Murray, Stefanie Jenkins, Larry Murray, 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 niece, and 4 nephews.

In times of Sorrow, Love heals

And in All  times, Love remembers.

Dean will always be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by those who had the honor of knowing him. May he rest in peace in the arms of our Great Lord.
