Noah Gastelum, 13, of Palisade, Colorado left us August 26th 2017 below the Grand Mesa in Hotchkiss Colorado Due to injuries received from a UTV accident.
Born March 8, 2004 he was the son of Brooke Martinez and Paul Gastelum. Noah was full of life, energetic and laid back. He attended Mt. Garfield Middle School. Noah loved all sports but had a special gift for baseball. He played little league and then competitive ball. It was a game he played every possible day. Noah was a young man who would do anything to see someone smile. His smile and love for life will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by brothers Brandon and Paul, sisters Lacy and Ashlynn. Grandson of Bill and Karen Meador, Gary and Linda Martinez and Connie Gastelum. Nephew to Jesica and Cloyd Hughes, Erin and Doug Schleimer, Brandon Martinez and Devan Salazar. Cousin to Anthony, Taylor and Sydney Rivas, Robbie and David Hughes, Timothy Martinez, Logan English, Jayden Bentz and Austin Martinez and so many close friends and extended family. He is preceded in death by his older brother Elijah Gastelum and Uncle Nathan Martinez.
A celebration of Noah’s life will be at 10:00 am, Friday, September 1st at Clifton Christian Church. Please donate to the Noah Gastelum go fund me account to raise funds to help cover his family’s loss. In honoring Noah's life and passion for baseball please wear baseball attire for the service.
