Michael Dennis Johnson

Michael Dennis Johnson, age, 58, died July 31, 2023, following a long illness.  

Born January 20, 1965, in Hollywood, CA, he was the son of the late John Lenoard Johnson and Donna Burton Johnson. 

Michael graduated from high school in Nucla, CO and completed college in Denver, CO.  

Michael had been employed as an Operations Manager and DCO, On Air, Music Director, and Program Director for over 30 years. Radio was his passion.  

He enjoyed music history, grilling, fishing, chatting with friends and colleagues all over the country, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  

Michael was hardworking, dedicated to family and friends, and would help anyone out in any way he could. 

Michael is survived by his wife, Angela Johnson, Grand Junction, son Trent (Angela) Johnson, Grand Junction, daughter Jasmine Pacheco, Grand Junction, brothers Patrick Johnson, Summerville, SC and James Johnson, Las Vegas, Nevada. Michael had numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

No services will be held per Michael’s request.
