Matthew Tyler Peeples was born on April 23, 1985, to Rick and Leslie Peeples. He passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, at HopeWest Hospice.

Matthew grew up in Palisade on his family's peach orchard. Matt attended Palisade High School. After graduating, he worked locally in the fabrication of bridge and structural steel. He later served as a District Manager for Arctic Energy in the Wyoming area.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Loretta Harrison, Linn Peeples, and William Styers (PA).

He is survived by his parents, Rick and Leslie Peeples; his sister, Cassie Peeples Wagner; his two beautiful children, Mattilynn Rose Peeples and Kallen Steven Peeples; his two cherished nephews, Bret Wagner and Hunter Wagner; and his grandmother, Lawanna Peeples. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved dearly.

Matthew's favorite saying was, "Not all who wander are lost."

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HopeWest Hospice Care Center.
