Marilyn Voytilla

September 11, 1942 — February 13, 2018

Marilyn Jean Voytilla, age 75, died February 13, 2018 following a brief illness.  Marilyn was born in Nucla, Colorado on September 11, 1942.  The daughter of Robert Lester Sage and Hazel Florence Wood-Sage.  Marilyn attended Nucla High School in Nucla. Colorado.  Marilyn attended cosmetology school and spent the next 30 years in the beauty industry, owning her own beauty salon most of her career.

After retirement Marilyn and Jim enjoyed traveling and spending time at their home in Arizona.  Most of all, Marilyn loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She loved crocheting and doing crafts, such as scrap-booking.  Marilyn also loved spending time attending both Faith Heights Church in Grand Junction and Oasis Fellowship Church in Arizona.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lester Sage, Her Mother, Hazel Florence Sage, 3 brothers; Wayne Sage, Robert Sage, Jack Sage and 1 sister; Vada Fletcher.  Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jim Voytilla, 3 sons; James Voytilla (Kelli), Scott Voytilla, Steve Voytilla (Marnie) and 6 grandchildren; Dylan, Mason, Sophie, Clayton, Jimmy, and Tayvia all of Grand Junction.  She is also survived by her brother, Leo Blake Sage of Las Vegas, Nevada, two sisters, Karen Toland of Arkansas and Patty Rottinghaus (Ted) of Fruita, Colorado.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Faith Heights Church, 600 28 1/4 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81506.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Brown's Cremation and Funeral Service.
