Margaret Bailey

Maggie Broderick Bailey, 85, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025 at the Center at Foresight after battling cancer.

Maggie was born on May 9, 1940 in Delta, UT to Thomas Broderick and Margaretta Nielson Broderick. She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1958 and soon after married Elvin Frandsen of Mt. Pleasant, UT. She traveled many places and dedicated herself to raising her children.

Later in life she married her true love Harley “Bill” Bailey and together they enjoyed traveling, going on drives in the mountains, sharing a good bottle of wine, and taking daily walks together.

She loved quilting, playing cards, crossword puzzles, walking and anything outdoors. She enjoyed baking and was famous for her chocolate chip cookies and lemon meringue pies. She loved to go to the mountains and hug a tree! In the last year she enjoyed art classes at the GJ Senior Center and volunteering at Heirlooms for Hospice.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and one brother, daughter Debbie Lynn Frandsen, son Michael Elvin Frandsen, and her true love Harley “Bill” Bailey. She is survived by her two sons Kevin (Christi) Frandsen & Kelly Frandsen, three grandchildren, Daniel (Megan), Amanda, Brandon, and three great grandchildren Aiden, Madelyn, and Kaysen. She is also survived by Bill’s children, William Bailey, Grace Swokowski, Philip Bailey and Raymond Erickson.

A celebration of life will be held at Brown’s Funeral Services on 8 December at time 1PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her name to Hopewest “Hospice” in Grand Junction, CO www.hopewestco.org .

Maggie's family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at the Center at Foresight and Hopewest for their dedicated and devoted care.
