Lydia was born on February 24, 1928, in New Jersey to Frank and Mary Fristensky.
Throughout her working life, Lydia held a variety of roles — theatre usherette, business secretary, and volunteer professional ski patrol. In her later years, she enjoyed ranching and horseback riding on her ranch on the Grand Mesa. She also owned and operated a vineyard in Palisade, Colorado, before finally settling down in Jupiter, Florida.
Lydia loved blue-water fishing, water skiing, roller skating, snow skiing, and tennis. She was known for her outgoing spirit, friendly nature, and adventurous heart.
Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Fristensky; her siblings Mary, John, Louie, and Frank; and her loving husband, Joe Felczak. She is survived by her loving family, Deborah Furner, Claudia Lynn, and Chris Felczak, as well as her three beloved grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on December 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service.
