Lucille A
Clemmer
Dec 10, 1930 — Aug 26, 2026
Saturday
Appleton Christian Church
Starts at 12:00 am (Mountain time)
Lucille Clemmer, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed
away on August 26, 2026. Lucy lived a life centered on faith, family, and acts of love that
touched everyone who knew her.
Above all else, Lucy’s family was the heart of her world. She was an extraordinary mother to
her three children (Alice Elwood, Tyler Clemmer, and Tracy Pestana), a cherished
grandmother to her twelve grandchildren, and a beloved great-grandmother to her eleven
great-grandchildren. Her love was steady, generous, and constant. Those who knew her will
remember the way she made each family member feel uniquely valued and deeply loved.
Lucy worked as an accounting manager at the telephone company until her retirement.
She and her late husband, Dick Clemmer, enjoyed traveling together and creating
memories that she treasured. A devout Christian, Lucy’s faith guided her days and gave her
strength. She found comfort and purpose in her relationship with God. Lucy also found
great pleasure in the everyday joys of life: she loved to cook, knit, read, and gather around
the table for a game of cards.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Clemmer. She leaves behind a large and
loving family who will carry her example of faithfulness, warmth, and devotion forward.
Memorial services will be held at Appleton Christian Church in Grand Junction, CO on
September 19, 2026.
Lucy’s legacy lives on in the family she cherished so deeply and in the countless lives she
enriched with her love
