Lowell Harrison Jones

Lowell Harrison Jones passed away peacefully among family at the VA Medical Center in Grand Junction, CO on 9/5/25.

Lowell was a proud Vietnam War Veteran who served valiantly in the United States Airforce. He was honored at the VA with a Veteran’s Final Salute following his passing.

A pillar to his family, Lowell balanced quiet strength with a giant, gentle, caring and tender heart. He was a wonderful Husband, Father & Grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Jane Ellen, two sisters, a younger brother, Four children and Five Grandchildren. Lowell had a cheerful heart and was always a source of love and joy to his family, neighbors, and all who had the privilege to encounter him.

Lowell loved working hard -tending to his animals, land and family alike. He is remembered most for his warm hugs, reassuring presence, giant smile, skilled wood working and mechanical abilities and family car rides in his classic blue 1967 fastback mustang.
