Loretta Mabel Hicks, 83, of Collbran, Colorado, passed away on June 7, 2026, at 7:05 a.m. at home due to a brief illness. Loretta was born April 20, 1943, in Sargents, Colorado, the daughter of the late Raymond Hicks and the late Waunita Leslie.

Loretta attended Fruita Schools. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and Collecting Owls, and she delivered the Nickel Add Paper for over 10 years. On May 20, 1961, Loretta married the late Leonard Miller, and they celebrated 60 years together.

Loretta is survived by her children, Ray (Lynn) Miller of Rifle, Colorado; Leona Miller Christlieb of Collbran; LaDonna (Andrea) Miller of Noble, Oklahoma; and Marvin Miller of LaSal Utah. Loretta has 10 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and numerous Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son, Robert; father, Raymond; mother, Waunita; her brother, Raymond (Bud); sister, Lucretia; sister, Lililian; grandson, Aaron; granddaughter, Melissa; and multiple great-grandchildren.
