Linda Lorraine Coe

March 3, 1949 — January 3, 2025

On January 3, 2025 our beautiful mother, grandmother and wife left this life and entered the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus, after a long battle with Type 1 diabetes. She was 75 years old.

Linda was born on March 3, 1949, in Delta, Colorado to Ned and Martha Cooper (Sapp). She spent her childhood in Nucla, Colorado and graduated from Nucla High School in 1967. She loved growing up in Nucla with numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and riding horses with her dad in the Ute/Pinon area that the Coopers settled in the early 1900’s. After high school she attended Parks Business School in Denver, Colorado. She then moved to Grand Junction, Colorado where she spent the remainder of her life.

In 1973 she married Bud Pease and they had two children, Kristine and Brandon. That marriage ended and in 1999 she married Mike Coe. They enjoyed many years of car racing, good friends, camping and trips to Mesquite, NV. She worked at Colorado State Employees Credit Union for 13 years. She loved the members there and her coworkers. After retiring, she spent the rest of her years being a grandmother. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Her desire is that all whom she loves come to know the Lord Jesus and that she will be reunited with them in eternity. (Linda is preceded in death by her father Ned, mother Martha and brother John.)

She is survived by her husband Mike Coe of Grand Junction, daughter Kristine Wunderwald (Len) of Palisade, Colorado, son Brandon Pease (Bree) of Fruita, Colorado and stepdaughter Brandi (Rodney) Cantrell, of Grand Junction, Co. Grandchildren Taylor, Alec, Lindsay, Levi, Eva, Ashlyne, Madelyn and two great grandchildren Capreece and Kaydence. The family would like to thank Amanda Ferguson for her compassionate care and love. A special thank you to Dr. Mike Pramenko and Lora Page for their years of exceptional medical care, and the staff at Redcliff’s Acute Care Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Hospital NICU on behalf of Levi, Diabetic Research Foundation or the Royce Hurst Humane Society. Private family services will be held at a later date.

EPH: 2:4-8 “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), ⁶ and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, ⁷ so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;”
