Leland R. Mow (Bud), 71, of DeBeque, Colorado, passed away on February 27, 2026.
Leland was born on November 15, 1954. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Throughout his life, he worked in the oil and gas industry and later owned and operated his own food truck. He was known for his strong work ethic and independent spirit.
Leland had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed gold panning. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his stories, and the connections he built with those around him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Guy; his children, Dustin Mow, Paul Mow, Travis Cowden, Jay Cowden, and Misty Cowden; 19 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Wallace Mow, and his sister, Sharron Billings.
A funeral service will be held on April 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, Colorado.
Leland’s legacy of love, friendship, and family devotion will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
