Larry Davis

Larry Paul Davis 81, died 29 March 2022 following a battle with Cancer.

Born October 24, 1940 in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the son of the late Paul Barrett Davis and Ethel Marie Shaw.  In 1958, Larry graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio, where he lettered in Tennis.

Larry was an over-the-road truck driver for 38 years.  He showed classic cars and won a few trophies.  His favorite cars were Cadillacs.  He enjoyed talking about politics and calling friends on the phone.  He liked watching college football--especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, and enjoyed watching NASCAR (Dale Earnhardt Jr was his favorite driver)  Larry was a jokester, but had a heart of Gold.  Whenever he saw a need, he generously shared.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his spouse, Deena Kay Davis, his stepsons Scott (Pam) Eagar, and Kit Eagar, his brothers Don Davis and Steve (Linda) Davis, a sister Kim (Bill) Look and several nieces, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be on 23 April 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2881 Orchard Avenue.
