The world lost Landon Barr on August 25, 2026. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence touched the lives of so many.

Landon was preceded in death by several cherished family members, including his beloved sister, LeeAnn Brown. He is survived by his mother, Darline Barr of Grand Junction, his father, Rodney Barr and wife Gail of Colorado Springs, his sister Stephany Hughey and husband Mark of Montana, his stepsister, April Bruce and husband Taylor, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Landon had a tremendous love for those closest to him, and that love extended to the many furry family members who held a special place in his heart throughout his life. He was also a loved and valued member of the Grand Junction LGBTQ+ community, where he formed many meaningful friendships.

Above all, Landon was deeply loved and supported by his family and friends. His absence will be felt by the many people whose lives he touched, and he will be missed more than words can express.

Rest in peace, Landon. You were loved, and you will not be forgotten.
