Kristine Olson

Kristine (Kris) Sue Olson, 66 of Grand Junction, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on August 13th, 2022.

She was born on December 27th, 1955, in Denver Colorado, the daughter of late Betty and Earl Olson.

Kris was the youngest of 3 surviving sisters, Chreyl, Sandy, and Pam. Predeceased by 1 sister Jeanene.

Survived by Tony DiGrado, Best friend Robyn, and her 3 Daughters, Jessica Johnson, Courtney (Chance) Goodson, Katelyn (Johnny) Patterson and stepdaughter Renee DiGrado. Her beloved grandchildren, Ashley, Logan, Nytalia, Lydia, Gabriel, Leo, Mason and step granddaughters Addison and  Alexus. Nieces Marci, Wendy, Jennifer, Michelle and Kaicy. Nephews Derryl, Dan, Adam and Jason. And her beloved dog Daisy.

Kris was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and amazing friend. Her favorite part of life was spending time with her grandkids. She was always happy to help with them every chance she got. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, putting together puzzles and watching her favorite Christmas movies in July, or re-runs of Heartland and army wives. She enjoyed camping and swimming with the grandkids or just a nice walk in the outdoors. Kris was a woman of God and always knew that when it was her time, she had a home forever in heaven.

Per Kris's wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be scattered on top of the Grand Mesa by her loved ones.

Her celebration of life will take place at the Browns Cremation and funeral service on September 16th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,

I’d like to leave an afterglow

of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave and echo whispering softly down the ways,

of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun

of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done,
