Keith LaMar Podbevsek Sr.

Keith LaMar Podbevsek Sr., age 86, passed away peacefully January 5, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born on January 15, 1938, in Lyman, Wyoming.

He was a dedicated husband, father, community volunteer (E.M.T., Firefighter, and Garfield County Sheriff Deputy), successful business owner, an accomplished Square Dance caller for over 50 years, and was inducted into the Square Dance Caller Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years Joan Podbevsek; children Keith (Shana) Podbevsek Jr., Cindy (Jeff) Dodea, Karen (Ray) Lurvey, Darrell (Becky) Podbevsek, Leslie (Justin) Palmer; sister Jeanette (Gordon) Harker; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Artel Podbevsek.

He will be greatly missed by all.

In being respectful to LaMar’s final wishes, a short and small family only service will be held!
