It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Bryant.
Kat was a distinguished veteran of the US Navy, who departed this life with honor and dignity. Kat's life was a testament to courage, dedication and unwavering service to her county. Throughout her exemplary career in the navy, Kat epitomized the highest ideals of pride and professionalism. She led by example, upholding the navy's core values, honor, courage and commitment. Her peers and superiors alike recognized her steadfast leadership and exceptional performance. Among her many accolades, she was selected as command sailor of the year, a prestigious honor reflecting her outstanding contributions and tireless work ethic. Kats dedication did not go unnoticed. She was recommended for advancement to Chief petty officer, a milestone that spoke volumes of her capability, character and readiness to lead at the highest levels of enlisted service. Kathleen served with Valor, lived with integrity and touched the lives of many, Her legacy will live forever in the hearts that she led, served alongside of and loved. During her time in the Navy, she met the love of her life Keith, who also served in the Navy. The two were married March 17 1981. Kat and Keith were blessed with two sons Erik and Justin. Kat showed the same dedication and excellence as a wife and mother.
After Kathleen's time in the Navy she would go on to become a certified Master Groomer and open her own business. She has a great love for animals, working in veterinary environments and rehabbing wildlife alongside her husband.
She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Kathleen was the foundation of our family, the one we leaned on. the one who held us together. Her hands held generations; her words carried wisdom. She had a smile and a laugh that warmed the room. She gave so much more than she ever asked, never seeking praise.
Kathleen is survived by her two sons Erik McClellan (Danielle) and Justin Bryant (Trisha Schultz) and her grandchildren.
Kathleen leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and perseverance more enduring than anything in this world. While our hearts ache, we are forever grateful for the time we had, the memories we will hold onto and the example she set.
" She is like a hummingbird, delicate and yet still stirring the air with the many memories of her beautiful, vibrant presence"
