Katherine Stout

September 10, 1935 — November 15, 2022

Katherine Elaine Stout passed away on November 15th, at the Hope West Care Center in Grand Junction Colorado. Kathy was born to Fern and Lester Botts on September 10, 1935 in Santa Ana California. She had a sister as well as three brothers. She grew up and attended school in Southern California, graduating from Mark Keppel High School in 1953. After graduation, she worked as a telephone operator in Los Angeles before she met the love of her life, Jack Stout. Jack was stationed in San Diego with the Navy, before they moved to Grand Junction Colorado. They were happily married in Whittier California on September 23rd, 1956, and were together for 63 years. Together, they lived in Colorado for over 60 years and were blessed with three children, Deborah, Glenn, and Jennifer. Kathy and Jack were grateful for their families, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kathy was always a selfless servant for the lord; she enjoyed volunteering at St. Mary’s Hospital for 18 years and giving to those around her. Her joy came from being a homemaker and investing her energy in her family. Kathy will always be remembered for her love for others and the way she could make everyone feel loved and special. Most of all she loved her Savior Jesus Christ. She is now in the loving arms of Jesus.
