Joyce Serrano's Obituary

Joyce was born in Fruita CO, on July 15th, She Lived with her grandparents until she was 7 years old.

She then went to Santa Fe, New Mexico to live with her parents and siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe D. Serrano and Ida C. Serrano, her siblings Dolores Contreras, Joseph Serrano and Stella Luciano, and daughter, Josephina Moya.

She is survived by her sisters Barbara Serrano Juarez (Luis) Jan Crespin (Rudy) and her children Arthur (Jeff) Moya (Beth) Victor Moya Geri Cruz (Javier).

She raised her granddaughter Deanna Moya, and she has 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

She was a single mother most of her life and she obtained her Master's Degree while she worked and raised her children. Joyce was a very loving and caring person and she had many friends.

The rosary will be Wed Feb. 25 at 5-7pm at Brown's Funeral 904 N. 7th Street, Grand Jct. CO. Funeral mass is Feb 26th, 2026, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church after graveside services at Elmwood cemetery, lunch will be served at St. Joesph's Catholic Church.
