With deep sadness, we announce the passing of a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. John Joseph Mazza entered into eternal rest on May 25, 2026. John was born on October 3, 1931 in Gunnison Colorado. He built a life centered around dedication, hard work and a profound love for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Annalee of 69 years. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his three daughters, Shauna Hunt, Debbie Coleman and Lisa Sams. John was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren and the adored great-grandfather of 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his later years.

After proudly serving four years in the United States Navy, John attended Mesa College to build a strong foundation for a life defined by hard work and connection. He first made his mark as a Sales Manager for Holsum Bakery before taking his entrepreneurial spirit to the next level by owning and Italian restaurant Pantuso's alongside his brother-In-Law. When he wasn't working hard or lighting up a room with his vibrant spirit, he could be found on the golf course chasing the perfect swing.

John will be remembered for his steadfast work ethic, his warm hospitality and countless memories he shared with family and friends. While we mourn the loss of devoted father, loving husband and a dedicated veteran, we take comfort in knowing his legacy of hard work and love will live on in all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hopewest Hospice an organization close to the family.
