Joanne G.
Gore
Jan 4, 1950 — Sep 26, 2026
Joanne Grace Lovato Gore, lovingly known as “Momma” to her children, departed her loving family on September 26, 2026, she was 76.
Joanne was born on January 4, 1950, in La Jara, Conejos Conejos County, Colorado, to Thelma Snow and Isidore Lovato. A devoted mother, she raised her daughters, Dianne Ake and Dena Lindsey, with unwavering love, strength, and dedication. Her family was the center of her life, and she took great pride in the generations that grew from the love she gave so freely.
A woman of many talents and a strong work ethic, Joanne spent her years serving others in a variety of roles. She worked as a waitress and was known for her warm spirit and ability to make people smile. She was also an incredible baker, decorating beautiful cakes that brought joy to so many. She later worked for Walmart and finished her working years at City Market.
Outside of work, Joanne’s creativity shines. She was a gifted artist who especially loved working with pastels. She also enjoyed diamond dot art, gardening, crocheting, and knitting—always creating something with her hands and heart. One of her favorite simple joys was taking drives into the mountains in the fall to admire the changing colors, soaking in the beauty of the season.
Joanne is survived by her children, Dianne and Dena; her grandchildren Kris, Marissa, Tristen (from Dianne), and Enrique (wife Ana), Alasaundra, Alyssa, Samantha (husband Daniel), Zaida, and Zoie (from Dena); her great-grandchildren Ashlynn (Kris), Ethan and Kaylee (Enrique), Aaliyah (Alasaundra), Saint and Carter (Alyssa), Israel, Isaiah, and Nevaeh (Samantha); and her great-great-grandchild Sebastian. Joanne also cherished her role as a sister and is lovingly remembered by her 5 siblings, Ann, Harold, Manuel, Nadine, and Kathy along with many extended family members and friends.
Joanne was welcomed with open arms in Heaven by her Mom Thelma, Dad Isisdore, Brothers Ruben, Raymond, Marcelo, Leroy, Emilio, and Charles, and Sisters Florence, Dorothy, and Rhoda.
Joanne will be remembered for her kind heart, her creativity, her laughter, and the deep love she had for her family. Her presence will be missed beyond words, but her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she leaves behind.
