Joanne Fisch

Joanne Marie Fisch (Busby) fell asleep in death unexpectedly on the morning of Saturday, June 25, 2022. She was 66 years old.

Joanne was born on November 7, 1955 in Livingston, Montana. She was raised up Suce Creek in Paradise Valley, an area that was always special to her. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on March 25, 1972 and spent considerable time teaching Bible truths to others. On November 10, 1973 she married Craig Edward Fisch and together they raised 2 girls, Angie and Mandy. After the birth of their granddaughters, Harper and Regan, they moved to Laurel, Montana to be closer to them.

In her younger years, Joanne enjoyed caring for her horses and other animals but what she cherished most in life was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Wilbur Busby, her mother Marjorie May Criger, brothers Wayne and David Busby, several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her husband Craig Fisch, daughters Angie (Lyle) Zumbrun, Mandy (Paul) Marks, granddaughters Harper and Regan Zumbrun, her brothers Darryl (Nancy) Busby and Michael (Kim) Busby, sister Dianne Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private burial will take place in Livingston, Montana at a later time. Joanne did not want a funeral but instead asked that a picnic be arranged for family and friends to remember her. This will be held at Lions Park in Laurel, Montana on Saturday, July 23rd at 4:30 pm. The family requests that if you plan to attend, please bring a covered dish and a chair.
